How do I find a Discord user ID to report?

Enable Developer Mode in Discord, right-click the user, then 'Copy User ID'. Paste that into our Discord report bot.

Can I report a Discord server I'm not in?

Yes, using the invite link. You don't need to join the server to submit a report.

Does Discord tell the user they were reported?

No. Discord's trust-and-safety flow is anonymous to the reported party.

What about Discord DMs?

DM abuse can be reported with a message link. Discord can review the reported messages without you staying in the DM thread.
